I’m tired of getting older and having to pay for things,
I wish that I was young again and could go play on the swings,
But I’ve bills to pay and rent to keep, I haven’t cleaned this room in weeks

And I’m sick of all the TV that's just telling me I’m part
of a generation worse off than the one that came before
If they can’t say something nice then they shouldn’t say anything at all

I rather I was older and wise enough to see if
All the choices that I make are the best that they could be
Is it too late to change the things I’ve done, the things I’ve said, the things I mean

I’m tired of all the fascists that were voted into power
and I’m tired of all the communists who are just waiting for the hour
when the fascists they, have hell to pay, for all the decisions that they’ve made

Im sick of writing CVs and applying for a job
And writing letter after letter thats just brown nosing a boss
who will throw it in the bin with the leftovers of his lunch

I’m sick of hanging on to things that might make it in a year
And doing all the crappy jobs as a volunteer
Good things come to those who wait well I don’t think thats happening here
